Summertime is when blood donors are needed most. Michigan Blood’s Pure Michigan Summer sweepstakes invites donors to “Give and Get Away” to one of Michigan’s premier destinations. Everyone who tries to donate at any blood drive May 24 through September 12 will eligible to enter the sweepstakes.

Michigan Blood is proud to host Fore For Life, a charity golf tournament to benefit the National Marrow Donor Program's Be the Match registry. Each year, 6,000 patients turn to the Be The Match registry in hopes of finding a suitable donor match for their lifesaving marrow transplant. Thousands are diagnosed each year with leukemia, lymphoma, or one of 70 other life-threatening diseases for which a bone marrow or stem cell transplant may be the best hope for a cure. Michigan…

Grand Rapids: WYCE will broadcast live from 8 AM to 7 PM at the Grand Rapids Main Donor Center, 1036 Fuller. Free T-Shirts and hotdogs for donors throughout the day. Everyone who attempts to donate can also enter the Pure Michigan Summer sweepstakes.
September 9
Traverse City: WGFN and WJZJ will join Michigan Blood live on the Blood Bus at Wendy's, 1445 South Division Street, in Traverse City by Meijer from 3-5 PM. Everyone who attempts to donate will receive free single combo meal and entered into the Pure Michigan Summer sweepstakes.
